My cry for help!
It’s rare these days that you will see me wearing more than 3 items of makeup and I’m happy to go without! But that was not always the case it used to be 15 items eek!
As I hit my 50TH year let me open my heart up to you and show you something that I have been covering up for the last 2 decades.
It’s true to say having worked all over the world as a makeup educator for the last 3 decades I have a lot of secrets. Most I share with my clients … but this one is right up there at the top. It will probably shock you when you see the photos of my skin .. sore red and just not the EstherMarie you see today.
“Little did I know the the amazing creation I had made that changed my world and may others too.”
Some of you will have used this product, and you will know how amazing it smells and feels on your skin.
Some of the words I hear you say are “Your treatment calms me down” “I’m in love with your treatment” “I cannot believe this treatment does all my skincare” “I love using your treatment with your hot cloth so easy”
So, let me share my secret over the last 2 decades !! and I’ve asked the expert ANITA JAMES about the ingredients I used and I now understand how my skin and mind got so good.
- In my 30’s my skin was red, sore, blotchy and you would have thought having decades working around the world with the top cosmetic, skincare and fragrance companies I would have solved my problem! I was wrong. The only time I did not wear makeup was when I was miles away from home and high up in the sky!
- In my 40’s I decided it was time to pull together my knowledge with my vegan goals and create an oil that would change my world. I also wanted one skincare product that would save me time and money. I started with some of my favourites,
The uplifting smell of Neroli and Sweet Orange
Geranium that reminded me of my childhood in my Grandad Fred’s garden. You can see them hanging in the champagne bottles on the fence behind us.
Adding rich oils like avocado and keeping all the bad boys out I knew my skin and my mind would be soothed.
Many clients asked what I was using, I had not noticed that my skin was getting better !
Little did I know the amazing creation I had made. I’m delighted to say it’s changed their world too.
Now thoroughly tested on many humans it has been voted the best skincare product by EstherMarie’s Clients, and I will never be without it.
Here are my top 7 ways I use EstherMarie Treatment oil #2

With such an amazing success that I have had personally and professionally with this product I decided to ask the expert Anita James who is an educator and expert in Aromatherapy about the ingredients that I had chosen for my best selling oil #2.
I’m delighted to share that information with you.
Neroli (Citrus aurantium var. Amara)
Known as the ‘queenly elixir’ Neroli has a rich history of use dating back to Egyptian times. Prized for its relaxing, tranquilizing and sleep-inducing properties it adds luxury to blends and is excellent for sensitive and mature skin.
Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis)
The light, bright, clean smell of Sweet orange will lift even the darkest of moods. Rich in folklore oranges have been used as food and medicine for thousands of years. On the skin it noted for brightening dull complexions.
Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)
Geranium is a classic cottage garden plant that has been noted in many classic herbals for its healing effects on the skin. A mood balancer it reduces inflammation, making it useful for treating many skin conditions as well as being beneficial for mature skin.
Avocado (Persea americana)
This rich, thick green oil is a rich emollient that moisturizes, softens and nourishes the skin. It is notes as having anti-wrinkle properties and is healing to damaged skin.
Apricot Kernel (Prunus armeniaca L.)
This light oil absorbs into the skin leaving it feel nourished. It is an excellent facial oil for sensitive, dry and ageing skin
Let me tell you a little more about how I met Anita and how aromatherapy dramatically changed and shaped her life for the past twelve years.
I met Anita several years ago on a photoshoot, she was sitting in my makeup chair and became very interested in her work with her Aromatherapy passion and like me how they took her back to happiness of her childhood.
I was blown away with her knowledge of the industry and how she can skillfully use the power of plants to support us on a daily basis. She is a true animal lover and I’m sure as you know I am too.
I was hooked and I booked to go and see her… Initially to remove the stress from my shoulder and more recently she has helped me heal after a bad break to my leg having treatments from her including Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
Can you imagine the joy on my face when she led me down the garden path in to her little sanctuary leaving my shoes by the door all my cares melted away.
Born and raised in Derbyshire, surrounded by gardens, allotments and open farmland. The scent of roses took her straight back to being a carefree child on hot sunny days helping her Grandfather in the greenhouse and fruit picking with her Mum. She still is a passionate gardener and forager as well as bee keeper and cook, and grow most of her fruit and vegetables on her allotment, together with lavender, calendula and other medicinal plants.
Aromatherapy supported her through an incredibly sad and worrying period in her life in the late 1990’s and has been her salvation ever since.
She has spoken all around the world including the 2008 IFPA conference about her work in educational settings and was subsequently invited to speak at the AIA conferences in Chicago in October 2009 and Denver in 2015. She was also the CPD chair of IFPA from 2005 until October 2009 and Education Chair in 2015
If you are considering starting your own aromatic journey whether you’re new to aromatherapy or a therapist wanting to deepen your knowledge, Anita be would honored to hold your hand and guide you through an uplifting and fulfilling learning experience with her courses.
