Who is it for? Anyone who wants to become more confident with their own beauty routine, purchased for yourself or as a gift? If you are looking for professional Courses, please contact me to discuss,

How long? An average lesson is 2-3 hours and can be as interactive as you like; sit and watch or follow my leader and get involved. If it's your first time or with EstherMarie, 3 hours are allocated to allow for assessment and consultation; thereafter, 2-hour lessons can be planned. I also do 1-hour basic sessions as well as a block booking.

How many lessons should I book? Some clients like to have a few lessons or happy with one. Some stages are repeated with further appointments until you have the confidence to move on to the next stage. Everyone has different levels of learning and Beauty Mindset®. Time must be given to perfect your skill.

How many can attend? You can have a lesson on your own or as a small group if you want a bit of fun or are on a budget.

What's the difference between a masterclass and a lesson/workshop? Masterclasses are on set days and set subjects... Lessons and Workshops is a time booked bespoke to your requirements,

1- 3 levels of learning As you can imagine, some attendees are more competent and have a greater understanding; they can express their needs in a confident manner whilst others may not even own any products and have never applied makeup before. Looking at the products you are using and talking to you, I would assess your level of knowledge that is needed and key areas to cover. It's normal to learn from attending a lesson that you did not think were important now become a big part of your makeup routine.

Location My studio in the beautiful town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire can host 10 attendees; it has full studio lighting so you can clearly see detail, and light refreshments will be provided. If you would like the event at your location, studio and travel costs will apply, and please be aware that house lighting is not very bright and reflects a yellow tone. Downlighting also creates shadows that make it very difficult to apply makeup to yourself and see the demonstration.

Online / Remote lessons Via Zoom Skype, Facetime and telephone consultations in 30-minute blocks if we cannot get together.

Types of lessons - I  have set lessons or on a bespoke basis based on your request. The list of subjects to cover is endless from the most popular are... 10 years younger, glamour makeup, how to make your makeup last, Eyebrow definition, the 'no makeup look', false eyelashes, how to choose the correct colours, camouflage and cover-up makeup, wedding special occasion ideas, teenager & prom.

Makeup Bag RevampIf you have a drawer full of unused products, I suggest first do a  Makeup Bag revamp. It's great fun, especially with a small group of friends. The idea is you bring all your makeup, showing all your purchase history and mistakes made! Then we work out what products you should keep or throw! Once sorted, we create the look using your newly organised makeup.

Mini Makeup Artist - So, how do you learn to apply makeup when you are young? EstherMarie Mini Makeup artists workshops are extremely popular.
Everyone knows a little girl who wants to be a budding Makeup artist. Taking turns to be the artist then the model, it's truly brilliant to see them understand age-appropriate makeup looks and develop their skills to last a lifetime.

Professional Skills - Maybe you are a professional photographer or would love to do your own makeup for your wedding or photoshoot. Understanding lighting and the correct tones to use are really important.

Just skincare Allergies and skin disorders are increasing, so I have created skincare solutions to focus on skin.

Do I need to bring my own products? YES, BRING ALL THE MAKEUP PRODUCTS AND TOOLS YOU OWN no matter how old they are; this is not a judgement on you but will provide essential information quickly, including buying habits and mistakes made. The more prepared you are coming to a lesson and workshop, using photos of what you do and do not like, the more you will get out of
